HEROES IN THE FIGHT – NAMI IOWA 

WE NEED YOUR NOMINATIONS!

IPS has again partnered with NAMI-Iowa to hold an event to honor and recognize those who provide exemplary care and support for mental health patients and their families. The recognition luncheon will be held December 3, 2009 in Des Moines.   

Below is a list of the categories in which someone can be nominated for an award:

- Individual Psychiatrist

- Individual Allied Health Professionals (multiple awards)

- Individual Community Supporters (Professionals who do not meet criteria for Allied Health Professionals e.g. Police Officer, EMT, Judge, etc.)

- Individual Media Professionals (journalist, reporter, etc.)

- Treatment Team (broad category from a small group to an entire facility)  

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, November 4, 2009.  Remember to go to www.heroesinthefight.org  to submit your nominations online. It is quick and easy.
